Charcuterie, Serving, Cutting, Decor: use it how you wish. After years of use, If the board gets worn down or cut up, simply sand it back down or bring it to a local woodworker and have them do it for you. These are future family heirlooms.
Be sure to add some of our board butter. Depending on usage, apply a new layer of board butter every 6 months to a year to keep the water and bacteria out, and to give it a nice sheen!
Cuban Mahogany is one of only 3 genuine Mahoganies in the world. Globally it is one of the most sought-after woods and is rarely commercially available and is now listed as endangered. Lucky for us, they grow naturally all up and down the Florida Keys. We salvage them once they have met the end of their natural life. The salt spray from the surrounding ocean slows the growth rate of the tropical hardwoods, resulting in a harder wood with incredible grain patterns.
